The Timeline / Gantt view

Timeline view

The Timeline view is a Gantt chart of your tasks.

• Drag a bar to move a task in time.
• Drag the right edge of a bar to resize its duration.
• Drag between bars to create a dependency.
• Use zoom (Days, Weeks, Months, Full) to change the scale.
• Toggle Critical Path to highlight the longest chain of dependent tasks.
• Reorder tasks by dragging them in the left-hand list.
• Resize the divider between the task list and the timeline.

The timeline supports owner-group shading — consecutive tasks owned by the same person share a subtle background colour so you can see where one owner's work ends and another's begins.

Milestones appear as diamonds and have zero duration.
